To Whom It May Concern
The Nelson Mandela Museum is a not for profit institution established by the government of South Africa as part of a portfolio of legacy projects that seek to transform the heritage landscape from our apartheid past. At the same time, it is a resource for promoting economic development throughout tourism in an impoverished region of the country. This is a region in which I was born and grew up.
I was privileged to open the Museum five years ago, and continue to take personal interest in its work. In our view it is working hard to give substance to its vision of becoming “a living museum….. that embraces development and inspires people through education, culture and tourism.”
We would encourage and value any assistance which you are in a position to give to the Museum.
I thank you

“Man’s goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never extinguished” – Nelson Mandela
The Winter School Camp which began on the 28th of June 2017 to the 03rd of July 2017 established with a motive resulting from an ideology shared by Nelson Mandela Museum patron Mr. Nelson Mandela; where he dreamed of a Museum that will become a place to inspire youth in order to embrace and defend freedom we enjoy. It is Nelson Mandela Museum's objective to achieve Madiba’s dream through educational programming that seeks to encourage youth to embrace Nelson Mandela’s values, of Integrity, Democracy Human Rights.
