Mandela Museum to host Xhosa Monarch's memorial service

The Nelson Mandela Museum, an epitome of Nelson Mandela’s values and principles guided by his traditional and political upbringing, will host a memorial service in honour of the late Xhosa Monarch King Mpendulo Zwelonke Sigcawu who passed on at the Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital in Mthatha on the 14th of November 2019 aged 51. King Zwelonke Sigcawu was inaugurated as the ruler of the Xhosa Nation all over the world in 2015 in a ceremony attended by the then President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Jacob G. Zuma. The purpose of the memorial service is to give an opportunity for the Xhosa Nation, his people, to celebrate his life, Ahhh Zwelonke.

The memorial service will be held as follows:

• Venue : Nelson Mandela Museum Bhunga Building in Mthatha
