The recent news about the sudden passing on of the late Nelson Mandela and Winnie Nomzamo Mandela‘s daughter, Zindzi Mandela came at time when the Nelson Mandela Museum is celebrating Nelson Mandela month.
The death of Zindzi Mandela is not just a loss to his family but a loss to the masses of South African family who endured political persecution in the hands of apartheid police. Her political persecution and that of her parents is something that we will preserve and celebrate for the betterment of the lives of South Africans who continue to live beyond poverty lines.
Her boldness and prominent stance on matters that seek to deprive Africans an opportunity to have access on their land is something she inherited from the blood of Ngutyana and Madiba. As a museum, we appreciate her commitment to the freedom of the marginalised and her commitment to serve in the government of South Africa.
We therefore extend our condolences to her family and the children.
