In celebrating this year’s Women’s Month, the Nelson Mandela Museum will be hosting an Online Imbokodo Dialogue. The programme will be tackling issues of Gender Based Violence (GBV) scourging the country.
The target audience is mainly women who will benefit from the discussion and advice as well as men who still have a lot to learn about the effects of GBV at home and within the society at large.
The theme of the day is: “United against Gender Based Violence: Taking Back Our Power”
It is directly derived from the fact that GBV is a national scourge that requires all hands joined together for it to be defeated.
Details of the Online Imbokodo Dialogue are as follows:
Date : 27 August 2020
Time : 16h00 – 17h30
Venue : Zoom platform (details will follow)
