Decorative Artifect Design Wood Base

Decorative artefact- an L-shaped wooden art decorated by wools representing the African National Congress (ANC) colours- black, yellow and green. A total of 168 nails are nailed to form a fence like decoration that the wools are tired to make the decoration. The gift is suspected to be from an ANC branch. Nelson Mandela joined the ANC in 1943 at the age of 26 and co-founded its Youth League in 1944, just one year after becoming a member. In 1991, Nelson Mandela was elected ANC president and then became the first black President of democratic South Africa in 1994.
